Feels good to be home. It was raining when SQ238 made its approach to land at Changi. It was quite a turbulent flight to be honest. There were quite a few violent shakes here and there. Sat beside this senior couple on the flight. Pleasant folks. Turned out they were coming back from visiting their children in Melbourne, who also completed their tertiary education at the University of Melbourne. Awesome!

Well.. I'm waiting to board right now. There's an Emirates jet where the Singapore Airlines jet is supposed to be so I guess there might be a short delay.

After collecting my laundry, decided to go for a walk around college before I leave tomorrow. Spent most of my time at the roof patio.

Just watched Rendition. I was originally drawn to the movie last year while searching through movies that Reese Witherspoon had acted in, not knowing what the movie was ever about. But recently, I came into possession of the movie and finally watched it today.

For some reason, I'm extremely stricken by the movie. It gave me the same feeling after I watched Angels & Demons. About how some things in life are really about personal perspective. It's how we look at things that determine what is truth and what is a lie (to us). Though in another person's perspective, it might very well be just the opposite. Yes, I know it's just a movie. But I choose to believe that there's something to take away from what I see. Even if it's just a movie. 

What I choose to believe in may be the exact thing you choose to disdain. 

What I may have faith in may be the very thing you choose to ignore.

It's really just about perspectives huh?

And it seems our perspectives are different. It seems. I don't know.

And so I end with a quote made in the movie.

Well.. This is it! It's finally done. My last exam is over and semester one has officially come to an end. I've learnt a lot this semester. Not just academically of course. There have been much changes in my life and I would like to think that I have handled them reasonably well. College life has just been awesome. Everyone I've met. All the new friendships and bonds I have forged are here to stay. And of course, I will never forget the old friends and family I have left behind in Singapore, I'll be back soon! =)

I checked out the Calibre store at Melbourne Central today and the trench is not there anymore. Sigh. They have replaced everything with Part TWO of their Autumn / Winter collection already.

Alright. Did motivation yesterday. Need to start working on human resource management today.

Will it be a good ending? Based on everything which I have been doing (which isn't much really), I seriously need to buck up if I want to end the exam period on a decent note. STUDY FOR GOODNESS SAKE!
