Traffic Police Practical Test / 28 May 2008 / Wed / 1545hrs

I've gotta get through India first before the test. Hopefully I make it on my first attempt! =) I think I've lost a little of my touch. I feel exhausted all the time. Tired. Worn out. Burnt out. All I do is ponder and wonder coz I'm too fatigued to turn them into reality. I need that boost. That overdrive.

The game geek in me's looking forward to C&C Kane's Wrath / C&C Red Alert 3 / Starcraft II. EXCITING! =D

Driving again tmr. Vertical parking. The methods they teach with the poles and stuff seem more difficult. I prefer to use my instincts. But strange that I should say that. My instincts in other stuff have been pretty conflicting lately so much so that I cant even differentiate if my head is interferring. Afterall, matters of the heart should be solved with, the heart. The head only messes things up. Complicates.

Love is not practical. It's emotional.

Passed my FTT today. =) it was quite a relieve. Not quite used to exams these days. NS kinda erodes the academic side of people.

NJC's gonna start their 6 year Intergrated Programme starting next year. It's really exciting news. It's a wonderful feeling to know that NJC is pioneering such a move. Especially for an ex student. And everytime I drive pass Anderson, seeing the school compound expanding all the time. And their O lvl results improving year after year. Seeing that your alma mater is doing well. Just like how everyone's really excited about Singapore being selected as host city for the 1st Summer Youth Olympics Games in 2010. Then there's the 1st Grand Prix Night Race. And then the upcoming IRs. All really exciting stuff.

Then it suddenly hit me that other than the Grand Prix (which I might just be watching on tv), I might not be around when it all happens. With the various university prospectus laid out on my table, the time to decide my future draws nearer everyday. The choices are many. ANU / Monash / UNSW / UQ / UWA are amongst the GO8. Then there's Curtin.

It all seems to strange yet so real. How this might be the last full year I will be spending in Singapore. Everything I know was learnt here. Academics. Friends. Relationships. NS. There will be a time when I might have to leave everything behind and start a new way of life in Australia. My mom will come with me. And shuttle between China and Australia. It's exciting yet scary at the same time. Such a major move.

An international student. I wonder how it feels.

Well. For now, I'm just looking forward to driving tmr. Subject 20. U-turns! =DD

I've never really been really good at explaing or expressing my feelings and thoughts. I usually turn to songs, characters and stuff like that. Tonight (or this morning), I stumbled upon an entry written by someone whose existance I'm aware of. Though I'm not sure if he knows of my existance. I think he might.

I realised that we shared a common feeling. A common fear. A common concern. A common caution.

So here're little snipets that I find very relevant to me.

"many a times, we do not dare to say out the bare truth or our deepest feelings for the fear that we may hurt someone or perhaps create a misunderstanding that causes a relationship to break apart"

"keeping the truth to yourself is all good as long as it doesn't cause anyone else any harm"

It will not get any less complicated. But I thank you for your words. They managed to express how I feel. Well, most of it. I believe no matter what, they're still some human emotions that difficult to put out in words.

Hopefully, destiny will be kind to us.

It's coming to an end. Just like that. I still remember how I was anticipating the arrival of Chinese New Year and the 4 days break. Time moves relatively faster when you're older I suppose. It seemed like eternity when I was kid. I could create this giant traffic jam with my toy cars and when the jam is cleared (by me), the afternoon is still young. =X

So it's back to camp tonight. And another week of stress and struggles. My face is like a stress-o-meter. Judging by its current condition, I would say the stress level is on the high side. =(

Day 1 of CNY was boring. And lazy. Parents. Blahh. Day 2 was better. Had lunch with Roman and then dinner at RTC. Visited leen's place with the usual gang on Day 3. Followed by Waraku! More photos! Arcade! Fun stuff with fun company!

After my very exciting first practical driving lesson, I headed down to Levi's Raffles City to collect the remaining two pieces of my shopping spree last week. The 606 Series Original Pencil Slim. And Redloop (which according to Joey is limited ed. Oh well. He's the fashion powerhouse)

Apparently my interaction with jeans for the day didnt stop there. I popped into adidas Originals to check out their adidas Originals Denim by Diesel Collection for Spring / Summer 2008. Read about it last week in I-S magazine. Excellent service as usual. And then I got my Adi-thanaz. Even got a limited production adidas Original tote since I was one of their first 50 customers. =D

The price was steep. But like the wonderful adidas originals ppl said, if you've got it, flaunt it. And what better way than to do it in this fab skinny leg jeans in an unwashed and flat finish. Wow. I actually remembered.

Eileen even asked for my particulars for their upcoming adidas originals loyalty programme! Fashion makes an emokid happy. =)
