Such inspiring lyrics.
A little boy of thirteen was on his way to school
He heard a crowd of people laughing and he went to take a look
Thousands were listening to the stories of one man
He spoke with such wisdom even the kids could understand
The hours passed so quickly, the day turned into night
Everyone was hungry but there was no food in sight
The boy looked into his lunchbox, at the little that he had
He wasn't sure what good it'd do, there were thousands to be fed
But he saw the twinkling eyes of Jesus, the kindness in His smile
And the boy cried out with the trust of a child
He said:
Take my five loaves and two fishes. Do it as you will
I surrender. Take my fears and my inhibitions
All my burdens, my ambitions
You can use it all to feed them all
I often think about that boy when I'm feeling small
And I worry that the work I do means nothing at all
But every single tear I cry is a diamond in His hands
And every door that slams in my face, I will offer up in prayer
So I'll give you every breath that I have
Oh lord, you can work miracles
All you need is my "Amen"
No gift is too small. Merry Christmas everyone. =)
Despite poor reviews and harsh comments from the critics, I really enjoyed Alvin & the Chipmunks. They were one of my fav characters when I was young. I even have one of their older movies down on tape but I suppose it's all mouldy.
Just walk into the cinema with a light heart and chuckle like you did when you were
five, and you won't be too far off. I'm totally digging the soundtrack. CUTEEEEE! Heh!
Took a long way home last night. Walked down almost the entire Orchard. Alone. The crowd is just amazing. It's like where did these people suddenly come from man! The lights were nice too, as usual. Cameras clicking away. People trying to move along. Street performers strut their stuff.
I carried a heavy heart. It's a feeling I've experienced before. Just this time, I was prepared and it didn't feel so bad with close friends around, supporting me. Thanks guys. =)) I'd rather stem the problem before it continued or got any worse. I can't let myself get caught into a rut yet, again. It's not what I want. Options are open now. Anything can happen. I don't want any promises and I can't give any. Life goes on.
We used to talk about it
We used to dream about it
And then we think about it
We knew we'd make it

Alvin & the Chipmunks OST
The baby is dead. =X
I'm falling apart. I'm barely breathing.
With a broken heart that's still beating
In the pain, there is healing
In your your name, I find meaning
So I'm holdin' on, I'm holdin' on, I'm holdin' on
Barely holdin' on to you
Alright. I've done a very skeletal startup of this new blog I created. It was supposed to coincide with my completion of the FIRST year of National Service. Finally, I'm halfway there and the journey here was unimaginably full of twists and turns. Miracles and bad luck. But here I am. Alive & kicking! =)
It's also a very special day since I officially begin my pursuit of a driving license. Yes, something I've been dreaming about doing ever since I was a little boy playing with hot wheels toy cars. =D I passed my Basic Theory today after failing the first time. It actually felt like exams all over again.
Did some shopping at GAP & Espirit lately. 5 tops and 1 chino. I'm gonna alter all my trousers once and for all to a very comfortable length so I don't have to fold them up or deal with unnecessary creases near my shoes. Speaking of which, I need new shoes! CNY's coming up again!
And I really really love my iPod touch. It's the reason why I'm checking out blogs and updates at World Car Fans in the comfort of my bed. Apple is really amazing. I would love to see their multi-touch screen interface be introduced into infortainment systems of cars and even planes. A collaboration with Boeing doesn't seem that impossible considering both are American. Airbus would be troubled if it happened. That's how good the interface is.
The iPod touch and its Porter pouch.
A match made in heaven.
